It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Charlie" Bourbonnais on February 9th, 2026, at the CISSS Buckingham Hospital, at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Irma Berndt Bourbonnais, and son of the late Charlemagne Bourbonnais and the late Romualda Vézina.
Besides his wife, he leaves behind his children, Terri (Gavin) and Mark (Jill), and his grandchildren, Ben, Brooke, Glen, and Lee. He is also survived by his brother Léo (Lorraine), as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters Huguette (Bob), Georgette (Laurence), Lise, and Nicole.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the personnel of the CISSS Buckingham Hospital for their support and excellent care.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Robert "Charlie" Bourbonnais survenu le 9 février 2026, à l’Hôpital de Buckingham, à l’âge de 79 ans. Il était l’époux bien-aimé d’Irma Berndt Bourbonnais et le fils de feu Charlemagne Bourbonnais et de feu Romualda Vézina.
Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Terri (Gavin) et Mark (Jill) ainsi que ses petits-enfants Ben, Brooke, Glen et Lee. Il laisse également son frère Léo (Lorraine), de même que de nombreux parents et amis. Il fut prédécédé par ses sœurs Huguette (Bob), Georgette (Laurence), Lise et Nicole.
Pour ceux qui le désirent, un don à la Société protectrice des animaux serait apprécié.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel de l’Hôpital de Buckingham pour son soutien et les excellents soins.
