It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Linda Eleanor Ferreira (née Stafford) on January 26, 2026 at the age of 74. She was the cherished wife of Louis Ferreira for 54 years.
She will be dearly missed by her son Michael, who cared for her in her final years, daughters Sandra (David) and Laurie (Craig), and son Patrick (Janet). She was the proud Vava of Andrew, Christian, Eva and Andon. She will also be remembered by sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Mona (Seccull) and Aime Stafford, and siblings Gail and Gary.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Linda’s life at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais - Pavillon Lac-des-Fées - 95 de la Cité des Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, February 10 at 10 am followed by the interment at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
