C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Mme Jeanette Lavallée Paquette, survenu le 9 mars 2026, à l'âge de 80 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Marcel Lavallée et de feu Jemima Shanks.
Réputée pour sa personnalité créative, elle nourrissait une passion particulière pour la couture. Elle a passé de nombreuses heures joyeuses à créer avec du tissu et du fil, un passe-temps qu’elle a chéri tout au long de sa vie et qu’elle a continué à pratiquer jusqu’à son décès.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son fils, Marcel (Lisa), ses petits-enfants, Mégan, Erin (Chris) et Jamie, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants, Christopher et Benjamin. Elle laisse également ses frères et sœurs, David (Cathy), Fred et Bonny, ainsi que d’autres proches, parents et amis. Elle a été précédée par son fils bien-aimé, Steven, sa sœur Marina (Leo) et son frère Philippe (Yvonne).
Une cérémonie commémorative aura lieu dans l'intimité de sa famille.
La famille tient à remercier l'équipe de soins à domicile pour l'excellente prise en charge prodiguée.
Un don à la Société canadienne du cancer, en sa mémoire, serait apprécié.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Jeanette Lavallée Paquette on March 9, 2026, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Marcel Lavallée and of the late Jemima Shanks.
Known for her creative personality, she had a special passion for sewing. She spent many joyful hours creating with fabric and thread, a hobby she cherished throughout her life and continued to enjoy until her passing.
She leaves behind her son, Marcel (Lisa), her grandchildren, Mégan, Erin (Chris) and Jamie, her great-grandchildren, Christopher and Benjamin. She is survived by her siblings, David (Cathy), Fred, and Bonny as well as other relatives, family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Steven, her sister Marina (Leo), and her brother Philippe (Yvonne).
A Celebration of Life will be held in the privacy of her family.
The family would like to thank the home care team for the excellent care provided.
A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, in her memory, would be appreciated.
