Guy Mervin Wilson
April 19, 1952 - February 25, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guy Wilson of Kazabazua, Québec, on February 25th, 2026, at age 73 years. Guy passed away peacefully at the hospital in Maniwaki, Quebec, surrounded by family members.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Maniwaki Hospital for their exceptional care of Guy during his final days, and for their kindness and compassion towards them.
Guy is survived by his children, Shannon (Richard) and Billy; his brothers, Jacques (Michelle), Gerry, and Bryan (Tina); his grandsons Wilson (Isabelle) and Deacon, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Calvin Wilson and Hubert Wilson (nee Beaudoin), his sister Linda Wilson, and his brother Perry Wilson.
A memorial service in honour of Guy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at Trinity United Church, located at 360 Route 105, Kazabazua. A lunch will be held following the service, at the Kazabazua Community Centre, located at 30 Begley Road.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
