It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs Barbara (Hickey) McConnell on September 12, 2026, at the age of 85 years.
Beloved wife of the late Donald McConnell and daughter of the late Edward Hickey and of the late Anita Boyer.
She leaves behind her daughter Sandra (Drew) and her grandchildren Jessa (Richard), Robert (Carlee) and Kurt (Val) and her great-granddaughter Harper. She also leaves many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Kevin.
The funeral service will be held on October 22, 2026 at 11 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, located at 160 Principale Street in Gatineau (Aylmer sector), Quebec. The family will receive the condolences at 10:30 am.
The family wishes to thank the Foyer du Bonheur staff and Josh for his long-term support and friendship.
