It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sonia Ashley Nash on September 11th, 2024 after battling with dementia. She was the beloved wife of David Nash and daughter of the late Frederick Ashley and the late Gertrude Brown.
She leaves behind two daughters Andrea Walker and Marsha Kearnes (Randy). She also leaves her brothers Keith (Dulci), Waldie (Alda) and Bass (Kathy) as well as her brothers -in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Herving, Joslyn and Kenneth, Andy and Clifton.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2 pm at La Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences as of 1:15 pm. It will be possible to view the ceremony, live or in replay via https://commemora.tv/en/diffusions/97920

I was just made aware that Sonia had passed. I am very sorry to hear this. Sonia was a much respected and loved colleague and friend. I had the pleasure of working with her, Dave and Andrea at the courthouse. Sonia was a quiet, lovely person with a great smile. Thinking of all of you.
