The Foundation for the Development of Cooperatives in the Outaouais is dedicated to promoting and supporting the creation, growth, and vitality of cooperatives in our region. It operates as an endowment fund, with revenues reinvested into local communities to encourage cooperative solutions to economic and social challenges.
A foundation serving the community
As a non-profit organization, the Foundation brings together cooperatives from across the Outaouais region, while also welcoming individuals who wish to support the cooperative movement. It embodies the values of solidarity, mutual aid, and shared responsibility, while upholding the cooperative principles of autonomy, local engagement, and intercooperation.
