Predeceased by his parents, Paul Myers and Madeleine Bolduc, as well as by his stepmother Lucie Larocque, Robert is survived by his wife, Carole Braün Myers; his daughters, Mélanie Myers, Julie Myers (François Leblanc) and Joëlle Myers (Alex Quesnel); his seven grandchildren, Tito, Sid and Caspar Clément, Milo and Astrid Leblanc, as well as Olli and Lou Quesnel.
He is also survived by his sisters, Paulette Vandevenne (David Vandevenne) and Lise Rieger (Russell "Russ" Rieger), as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Braün family, several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, 1369 de la Vérendrye Boulevard West, in Gatineau, on Friday, June 26 at 2 p.m. The family will welcome you starting at 1:15 p.m. Following the ceremony, a snack will be served at the family residence. All are welcome.
The interment of the ashes will take place at a later date in the privacy of the family.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the oncology team at the Gatineau Hospital, including Dr. Mario Dallaire and Dr. Stéphanie Ferland, as well as the palliative care team, including Mélanie Beaulieu, for the good care provided.

L’inhumation des cendres aura lieu ultérieurement dans l’intimité de la famille.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Bob at PCH back in the day full of laughs and chuckles. You could always count on a friendly smile from "Bob" just like in the picture yous have chosen here :-) . It represents him well.

My deepest condolences to Carole, the entire family and friends.
I was fortunate to work with Bob for fifteen years and he was always in good spirit,
full of laughs, incredibly generous and a good Elvis imitator :-)
It was impossible to cross his path without either a goofy gesture and/or a friendly
smile on his behalf. He literally brightened up your day.
So sad and to soon, he will be missed by many. R.I.P Bob, you really achieved your goal in fulfilling our lives.
