To Marc’s friends and family, I am deeply saddened for your loss. I had played ball hockey against him for years and know how well liked he was by his teammates and around the league. My sincere condolence to you all in this difficult time.

I’m so heartbroken to hear about Marc’s passing. He was one of the most generous people I know. I still rave about his cooking, and will never forget how passionate he was about sharing his gift and love for food with everyone he could. As a captain, he made me a better player, always willing to spend time and help his team practice and improve. Jess, I am sending you all my love, and Sadie is sending hers to your pups. I can’t imagine what you are going through.

Jessica, I can't begin to imagine what you and your family are going through. I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. My time working alongside Marc-Antoine was far too short, but I'll never forget the kindness you both showed me - kindness that helped shape my career in ways I'm still grateful for. My deepest condolences to Jess, the pups, and Marc's family and friends. He was a truly kind person who helped me improve at hockey. He was a generous host, helping organize outdoor hockey events then having people over, and an amazing chef. He is greatly missed by the whole hockey community. I think of him often, especially when playing hockey or eating birria tacos. May he be at peace.

My deepest condolences to Jess, Marc’s family, and everyone here who loved him. I had the pleasure of playing pickup hockey with Marc, and I really enjoyed the time we spent as a group. His fun, positive attitude made every week he was there that much more fun and enjoyable. He brought such great energy to the game, and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to know him. It’s heartbreaking that he was taken from us all so young and so suddenly. I only wish I’d had more opportunities to get to know him and share more good times together. Thinking of Jess, his family, and all of you during this incredibly difficult time. Marc will be deeply missed.

I only knew Marc through the hockey community but can honestly say if he lived life the same way he played hockey—with that kind of fire, grit, and heart—he must have been an absolute force. Beyond his intense love for the game I'll remember his quick smile and quirky sense of humor. And always in those flamingo shorts. Unforgettable, he will be missed.
