It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne O'Connor on Friday August 14th, 2026 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by his parents Bernard O'Connor and Leona (Cuddihey), his sister Ann (late Cyrus), his brothers Clinton (Cathy) and Tom (late Brenda).
He was the beloved brother of Vincent (Pam) and will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be held at St. Martin’s Church in Martindale, Québec on September 5th, 2026, at 11 am. Condolences may be offered at the church from 10 am until the start of the mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the 6th floor of the CISSS Hull Hospital for their support and the good care provided.

Thank you Lord for creating such an even tempered man. He had a very hardy chuckle that made you giggle right along with him. Lorne loved when his family would gather together and tell old stories. One I recall that Clint loved to tell was the hot dog story. Clint being the big brother and all,therefore, Lorne believed what came our of Clint's mouth. Clint told Lorne that the hot dog was from a person and Lorne would not eat it. Giving the hot dog to Clint. Leaving Lorne with only the bun. I can hear him chuckle now.
To everyone left behind my deepest sympathies to a kind caring and living individual who loved God. Let's keep the stories going and listen for Lorne's chuckle.
