It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Kenneth “Ken” Moore on January 21, 2026. He passed away peacefully in his 81st year. Ken was the beloved son of the late Dorothy Harrigan and the late Frank Moore.

He is lovingly remembered by his partner of 36 years, Helen Goulet, their two sons, Jason (Kayleigh) and Ryan (Stephanie) and his cherished grandchildren, Jaxon and Dakoda. He is also survived by his two daughters from his late former wife Nicole Préfontaine, Jacqueline (Samson) and Julie Anne, his granddaughter Alyssa (Fignole) and his great-granddaughter Sumaiyaa.

Ken also leaves behind his sister Susan (Terry), his brothers Edward, Michael and Gordon and a rich network of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Ken will be remembered for living a good life. He treasured peaceful time spent at the Moore and Goulet cottages, where he could often be found reading magazines or the newspaper while enjoying the quiet beauty of nature. He also enjoyed curling, bowling, fishing, and boating.

Above all, Ken will be remembered for his gentle presence and the comfort he brought to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to offer their condolences between 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, located at 95 de la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau (Hull secteur), followed by the celebration at 2 p.m. at the same location.

Helen; we were so sad to hear that Ken had passed away. It brought back memories of spending time with you both long before any of our sons were born. We had a lot of fun together and we will remember Ken as a kind, caring and good friend. RIP Ken. 💔
