It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of June Schingh (nee Warnock), 83 years old, on July 24, 2013 at the Perley/Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre. Beloved and devoted wife to John Schingh for 62 years. Loving and doting Mom to Bruce (Karen), Linda (René), John (Aggie) and daughter-in-law, Leslie. Predeceased by her children, Gary and Anne-Marie. Treasured and adored Nana to Stacey, Tina (Adam), Kevin, Sean (Gen), Patrick, Corey, Mary and Sarah. Cherished Great Nana to 8 great grandchildren. Dear Sister to Eileen and predeceased by her brother Ivan. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 300 de l’Abbé-Murray St., Gatineau, QC. You may express your condolences to the family 30 minutes before the service.
Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
