It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Janet Tierney Paquette on January 6th, 2024, at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of the late Garry Paquette and daughter of the late Russell Tierney and of the late Margaret Lavoie. She leaves behind her children Melanie (Philippe Parent), Brenda (Jean Gagné), Wesley, Bradley and Jason (Julie Wagstaff) ; her twelve grandchildren and her twelve great-granchildren. She also leaves behind one brother Kevin Tierney (Joanne Tierney) as well as her brothers -in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Leslie (Diane Dagenais). The funeral service will be held on Thursday January 18th, 2024 at 11 a.m at St. Mark's Church located at 160, rue Principale, Gatineau (Aylmer sector). The family will accept condolences as of 10 a.m.
The family wishes to thank the Maison des Collines (palliative care) staff for their support and their exceptional kindness and compassion during her stay. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank father John Malazdrewich for his spiritual guidance and compassion.
