McGregor, Harry, died peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on March 5, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Beloved Husband of the late Gertrude McGregor (nee Bédard). Loving father of Dianne (Yvon Dagenais), Gerry (Bev), and Ann (Raymond Laplante) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Hamilton, Amanda Bélair, Alain Bélair and the late Richard Hamilton, great-grandfather of Victoria and Joshua. Raised in l'Ile-Du-Grand-Calumet, Harry served proudly in the Canadian Army during World War II from 1939 to 1944 and as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Norris Branch 227 in Gatineau. He worked in the Public Service for Veterans Affairs Canada for over 36 years. The family wishes to thank the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre and Ottawa Hospital General Campus for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, 1369 La Vérendrye Blvd. West in Gatineau on Friday, March 11th from 6 to 9pm. Memorial service will be held at St-Aloysius Church, 300 de l'Abbe Murray, Gatineau on Saturday, March 12th at 1:30pm.
