Gaetan left this earth in his 75 th year, peacefully at home, surrounded by love. He leaves to mourn his beloved partner, Trudie Winkelaar. Predeceased by his father, Jean Maurice Poirier and brother, Andre. A loving son to Anita Clement, and dear brother to Mickie, Michelle, Marc, Christiane, Nickie (Ken) and Norbert. Uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many, holding a special place in his heart.

 

Earth father Gaetan was especially known for his passion for music, and the great, unbounded love he had for his children. With Sharon, Luc (Chrissy) and Rose were the first branch of his family tree. Trudie's twins, Kate and Deirdre, and son Nicholas followed next. With Karen, Andrew, Braeden and Liam the last branch was created. Gaetan absolutely adored his grandchildren Charlotte, Isaac and Jacob, and baby Elijah. Trudie's grandchildren, Asha, Ceredig, Dalis, Lyra and Quentin, will miss him, too. All of them carry the gift of music in their roots.

 

Cremation, no funeral, with private interment later as per his wishes. No flowers, please.
