It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Francis William Thornton
Passed away peacefully on September 24 at the age of 91.
Frank’s generosity was well known. His care and devotion to raising his sons, Patrick and Peter, after the early passing of their mother and Frank’s beloved wife, Margaret, will always be remembered.
Frank was the son of the late Frank and Kathleen Thornton. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Mary Thornton (O’Reilly) in 1986 and leaves his children Patrick (Andrea) and Peter(Anna) and his grandchildren Jude, Auguste, and Caleb.
Frank was also predeceased by his brother Peter Thornton and sister Sandra Felice-Pace. He will be missed by his close friend of many years, Suzanne Leblanc, as well as by the Cuadrado family and friends.
The family would like to extend their special thanks and appreciation to the staff on the second floor of the CHSLD Renaissance for their persistent, patient, and kind care.
