It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernest Charron, son of the late Omer Charron and the late Anna Bérubé, on February 14th 2024, Valentine’s day, 6 days before his 96th birthday.
He leaves to mourn his wife Lorraine Vendette-Charron, his children Jean and Manon (Gerry), his grand-daughter Jessica, as well as many relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau, on Wednesday, February 21th, 2024 at 2 pm. The family will receive condolences as of 13:15 pm. It will be possible to view the ceremony live or by replay via

A great man, 96 revolutions around our sun. Memories that touched us all. I remember the good old days, working in his garage on many cars including his Jaguar. The stories he had the advice he gave. All good. A true best friend to my dad. Even for a bit we lived in his home. Cherish the memories and remember the greatest ones. The last of his era. Long shall you be in our memories and in our hearts. God bless heaven has another angel.

My goodness, it has been a long time since we’ve seen each other. The boys, Chris & Jean-Luc and I had the greatest love and respect for “Uncle Ernie”
and you.
My mum passed on January 20th of this year so maybe they can greet each other in heaven.
