Called home by our Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2016, just shy of his 89th birthday on September 4, 1927. Predeceased by his wife Ruby (Berndt), parents Archie and Mary (Biehler), sisters Gertrude Munz and Marina Kelly. Survived by his brother Neil (Judy Berndt) and children Gary and Sheila ( the late Kirk Achtell); Grandchildren Adam (Marie France Lacasse), Ashley (Michel Duguay), Mitchell and Jimmy and Great-Grand children Emily and Elizabeth.
Visitation Coopérative fune´raire de l’Outaouais, 116, rue MacLaren Est, Gatineau Qc. Monday, August 29 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. also Tuesday, August 30 from 9:00-10:00 a.m followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 643 Inlet Road, Mulgrave-et-Derry. Qc.
