I believe I was lucky to meet him,, I met Mr Ceasar at the hospital just 5days before he died and i really liked him .every nurse and doctors in the ward loved him so much and would always pass via him and talk to him feed him, and whenever my sister would come back from the hospital to see my granny I would ask her like how is my friend doing and she would tell me his condition until when she told me like today I went back and he was not on his bed I think he is gone,,, I really felt sad. But may his soul rest in peace

My condolences for your profound loss. César was a valued colleague at Health Canada. When I was a starting my career as a scientist, César was a valuable example of how an applied scientist should be resourceful and solve practical problems.

Tonton Cesar was a staple figure throughout my life in Canada. He always was generous with kindness, wisdom, benevolence and time. He meant a lot to me and will be dearly missed at our family celebrations to come. May he Rest In Peace.

My condolences to the family. A great friend that will greatly be missed. Cesar was a spirited person with inventive mind, positive, gentle and ready to give a hand when we needed him. We used to talk a lot about our kids development and all I can tell is that he was very proud of his kids accomplishments!!!… Rest In Peace my friend

Cesar, you have been to me a scientific colleague as well as a great friend. I will always remember your hearty laugh that brought life to the room, your thought-provoking and in depth discussions at our Bureau Seminar and our discussions on food processing of tropical herbs and vegetables including your pepper sauces of varying degrees of hotness. Mijn oude vriend, het blijft moeilijk te bevatten, moeilijk te verteren. Er was altijd de veronderstelling van een volgende ontmoeting die er zeker zou zijn, al zagen we elkaar jaren niet. En elk ontmoeten was een sprankelend weerzien, gesprekken werden verder gezet alsof ze pas gisteren waren gestopt, soms waren onze gesprekken intens en absurd maar altijd was er ook enorm veel plezier, humor, maar ook veel respectvolle betrokkenheid. Cesar, we zullen je enorm missen.

Words can't describe how sorry I am at his loss. He was kind, compassionate and a true gentleman. He was very passionate about his job . I am just reading about Cesar's death this morning and I am at a loss. You were my first supervisor and the one who give me the opportunity to work at Health Canada. My mentor, a kind friend and a father figure. I remembered how you were always trying to invent something new and really excited about every new invention. You saw possibilities where others see impossibilities. You inspired those around you to give their best in every situation and you did that with kindness. No matter how busy you were, you never forget to tell us about your two wonderful kids and how proud you were of them. Rest in Peace Cesar! You will always be alive in our memory!

Please accept my sincerest condolences for your unexpected loss. Cesar was dedicated and passionate about food science, including the benefits of ginger, and hot chili peppers, in addition to his research projects at work. Sorry for the premature end of his life. May his soul rest in peace.

Cesar was one of the very few creative and excellent scientists at the Bureau of Microbial Hazard. Despite a shoestring budget, he was exemplary in coming up with solutions deserving of recognition. What is more, he was fun to work with and always knew how to put up a smile on my face. He will be missed by many of us. May the Lord rest his soul in peace.
