It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Bédard Lavictoire, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 89.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Jacques Lavictoire. She is also survived by her children: Richard (Carole), Sandra, and Robert (Lucie), her grandchildren: Mélanie (Dominic), Dave, Jeff (Alexandra), Vanessa (Wolson), Francis (Mélodie), and Stéphanie, her great-grandchildren Lexie, Léa, Florence, William, and Henri, as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Mildred Bédard, and by her sisters Audrey, Shirley, and Sheila.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, known for her wisdom, respect, and deep sensitivity to the needs of others. She profoundly touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In accordance with her wishes, a private celebration of life will be held with family.

Expressions of sympathy may be made through a donation to the charity of your choice.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of CHSLD Vigi de l’Outaouais for their compassionate care, as well as to Dr. Guy Morissette.
