With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Adele Dion aged 83 on November 28th, 2025 at the Hull hospital. She departed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and cherished memories.

Born on January 28th, 1942 in Buckingham, QC,  Adele embraced life with an open heart, mind and spirit. From an early age, Adele showed a spirit of independence and courage beyond her years. At just 15 she left home to pursue her dreams. That bold step marked the beginning of a life filled with resilience, and determination. Whether facing challenges or celebrating triumphs, Adele met each chapter with grace. Her life experiences were inspirational, and her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched.

Adele is survived by her children Steve (Melanie), Kim and Nick (Nicole) who will forever treasure the love and guidance she gave so freely. She is also a beloved grandmother to her two grandsons Matthew and Evan whom she cherished and loved dearly.

Adele is predeceased by her first love, and father of her children, Bruce Oudhuis; as well as her second late husband Claude Seguin. She will also be remembered fondly by extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by Adele’s presence.

Known for a warm heart and her love of animals, Adele also had a special bond with cats, who were not just pets but cherished companions.  Adele leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and the reminder to treasure both the people and animals who make life brighter.

A private family service will be held in Adele’s honour. The family invites donations to any SPCA in lieu of flowers.

May she rest in eternal peace, and may her light continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
