Joan (Jay) Hambly Quaile

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joan (Jay) Hambly Quaile. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 27th, 2025, at the age of 87. Joan was an exceptional wife, Mom, Nana, sister and friend. She loved life and had an infectious laugh that she shared with us often. Daughter of the late Arthur Hambly and the late Mary Kean. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Quaile. She is survived by her daugther Shann (Yves Fillion), her sons: Scott (Jeannette Gravel), James (Anne Forest) and Mark, her grandchildren: Susan, Kathryn, Jason, François, Catherine, Jacob, Alexander and William and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Marshall and her sister-in-law and best friend Rita as well as many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother John (John Strazzulla), her sister Susan (Bernard Vien) and her mother-in-law Della Quinn.

In order to respect her wishes, a graveside ceremony will be held in the spring.
