It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on September 27, 2026, at the age of 86 and surrounded by her loving family.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, she devoted her life to God and to her family. She shared 66 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, and together they raised their 10 children and one grandson.
Her legacy continues through her children, Diane (Dave), Donald (Diane), Mary (Rick), Peter (Celine), Paul (Cathy), Brian (Sheena), Michael (Nathalie), Jean-François (Méline), Daniel (Mélanie), her 32 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and her brother Gerald who were all a cherished part of her life.
She was predeceased by her husband (Gerard Simard), her mother and father (Alexandrine Laframboise and William Redmond), her siblings (Frank, John, Marguerite, Mary, Michael, Patricia, Sister Shiela, Theresa, and William), her daughter (Lynn), and her granddaughter (Evelyne).
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her faith, love, kindness, and devotion to her family will remain in our hearts forever.
Visitations will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS (Lac Beauchamp Pavillion) 750, Maloney Boulevard Maloney East in Gatineau, on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 6 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at L’ANGE-GARDIEN Church (Angers), 255, rue du Progrès, Gatineau (Angers), on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11 a.m. Family will be present as of 10:30 to receive condolences.
If you wish to send flowers, you may have them sent to the funeral home between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on October 8, 2026.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre mère, grand-mère et arrière-grand-mère bien-aimée, elle est décédée paisiblement le 27 septembre 2026, à l'âge de 86 ans, entourée de sa famille chérie.
Une femme de profonde foi catholique, elle a consacré sa vie à Dieu et à sa famille. Elle a partagé 66 belles années de mariage avec son époux bien-aimé et ensemble ils ont élevé leurs dix enfants et un petit-fils.
Son héritage perdure à travers ses enfants Diane (Dave), Donald (Diane), Mary (Rick), Peter (Celine), Paul (Cathy), Brian (Sheena), Michael (Nathalie), Jean-François (Méline), Daniel (Mélanie), ses 32 petits-enfants, 32 arrière-petits-enfants et son frère Gerald qui faisaient tous partie intégrante de sa vie.
Elle fut prédécédée par son mari (Gerard Simard), sa mère et son père (Alexandrine Laframboise et William Redmond), ses frères et sœurs (Frank, John, Marguerite, Mary, Michael, Patricia, Sœur Shiela, Theresa et William), sa fille (Lynn) et sa petite-fille (Evelyne).
Elle manquera profondément à sa famille et à tous ceux qui l'ont connue et aimée. Sa foi, son amour, sa bonté et son dévouement envers sa famille resteront pour toujours dans nos cœurs.
Les visites auront lieu à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS (Pavillon Lac Beauchamp), 750, boulevard Maloney Est (Gatineau), le jeudi 8 octobre 2026 de 18 h à 21 h.
Le service funéraire aura lieu en l’église de L'ANGE-GARDIEN située au 255, rue du Progrès, Gatineau (Angers), le vendredi 9 octobre 2026 à 11 h. La famille sera présente à compter de 10 h 30 pour recevoir les condoléances.
Si vous souhaitez envoyer des fleurs, vous pouvez les faire parvenir au salon funéraire entre 12h et 16h le 8 octobre 2026.
