Passed peacefully at home on Sunday, July 12, 2015.
Loving husband of 50 years to Edith (Russett). Loving and caring father of Sheila (Yvon), Kathleen, Douglas (Lana) and Christine (Gary). Special Poppy to David, Joshua, Kaylee, Kyle, Sierra, Kaitlyn. Survived by his dear brother Mervin (Norma) and niece Bev (Chris).
Predeceased by his parents Ivan McElroy and Gladys Colbert, niece Cindy and nephew Ronnie. Was loved by many and will be forever missed. Special thanks to his nurse Melanie Séguin and Dr. Marc Lapointe.
The family will receive condolences at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, situated at 1369, La Vérendrye O. Bvld, in Gatineau, on Sunday, July 19 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the same location.
