It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of
Michael Walsh on June 3, 2019 at the age of 69.
Predeceased by his wife Diane Walsh born Charette, his father Kenneth Walsh and mother Hélène Viau. Father to Michael and Honey (Michel Routhier) and grandfather to Jonathan and Jessica. He also leaves behind his sisters Linda and Nancy (Jim Badour) and brother Jeffrey (Shirley Bond), his father-in-law Larry Conor (late Claire Conor), his sisters-in-law Anita (Steve), Carmen (Jack) Linda (Ron), Claudette, Patricia (John) and his brothers-in-law Danny and John. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at La Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, on Tuesday June 11 2019, 1369 Boulevard La Vérendrye West. The family will receive condolences from 13:15.
In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, a donation to La Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the Gatineau Hospital staff and La Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie staff and volunteers for their support and the wonderful care given to him.
