MACMILLAN, Mary Louella (nee McIntosh) passed away peacefully on May 30, 2011. She was born October 21, 1920 in Templeton, QC and spent her life in the Gatineau area, most notably in the home she and her husband Millar built in 1960. Her first career as a school teacher gave her great joy, the she went on to be a legal assistant. She later became a business woman, partnering with Millar to build numerous custom homes in Gatineau, and a recreational pilot which gave her great memories. In her golden years she and Millar enjoyed winters in Bali, Indonesia and Florida. She is survived by her children Gordon MacMillan (Louise), Merrill MacMillan (Leslie), and Sandra McLean (Glen), her grandchildren Ian, Carole and David, great granddaughter Eva, sister in law Edythe McIntosh and brother George McIntosh. She was a devoted Mother, always putting needs of her children before her own. As per her request, a small family service will be held on Monday June 6th 2011 at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAIRE DE LOUTAOUAIS situated at 750, Maloney East, in Gatineau at 3:00 pm. Family will be receiving condolences at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
