It is with a saddened heart that we announce the passing of an extraordinary daughter, sister, wife and mother, Mrs. Karen Elizabeth Bain Beauséjour. Deceased at the age of 53 on Thursday morning, June 28, 2012, after all of her children graduated. Karen passed away at la Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie of cancer.
Born on July 25, 1958 in Toronto to Winnard George Bain and Madeline Margaret Bain(Forbes). Karen was married to Jean Beauséjour and very close to her mother and all of her brothers. She proudly worked at Canada Post, displaying every day that she could do the hard work of a letter carrier. After she was done her day of work and her motherly tasks, she would sit and read for hours on end.
Karen was predeceased by her father, Winnard George Bain and a great friend, Louis Lamontagne. Survived by her husband: Jean Beauséjour, her children: Patrick, Daniel and Katherine, her mother: Madeline, her brothers and sisters-in-law: Don(Mary), Vince(Gail), John(Judy), Gerald(Carla) and Tim(Mary), her mother-in-law: Mariette, her in-laws: Nicole(Gaetan), Diane(Frank), Marc(Josée) and Chantal(Bruno), as well as many nephews, nieces and Sarah.
A celebration of her life with the ashes will be held on Wednesday July 4th, 2012 at 2 pm, at la Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais, situated at 1369 La Vérendrye blvd. in Gatineau. Condolences will be received by the family at 1:30 pm.
Donations can be made to la Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie, who took such great care of Karen these last weeks. The family would like to personally acknowledge their staff for their exceptionnal services.
