went home to be with the Lord - God.
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Doreen Roy on February 22, 2013 at the Stillwater Creek Retirement Residence at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of the late William Roy. She leaves behind her loving daughters : Anne (Bruce Rolfe), Betty and Mary (Art Griffith); her cherished grandchildren : Michael (Shannon Lanthier) and Susan (John Cianci); her great-granchildren : Jaxson and Silas as well as her niece Joanne and other nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her beloved son Peter, her parents and brothers.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church located at 1060 Baseline Road in Ottawa.
For those who wish to do so, donations to the Ottawa Mission would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Stillwater Creek for their loving care and compassion.
