SIMS, Dale
1939 - 2025
C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de Dale Sims, à l’âge de 86 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse dévouée et sa compagne de toujours, Grace, avec qui il a partagé une vie d’amour et d’amitié.
Dale était le fils de Leonard Sims et Ida Achtell, tous deux décédés. Il laisse dans le deuil son frère Graydon (Helen) et sa sœur Donna. Il fut prédécédé par Richard (Vicky) et Gregory. Dale laisse derrière lui des nièces, des neveux et de nombreux cousins.
Il était le fier et aimant père de Tim (Chantal), Julie (Steven) et Marie (feu Warren). Il chérissait son rôle de grand-père et vivait pour ses petits-enfants, feu Brody, Kaiden, Kiera, Austin, Hunter et Aviana qui lui apportaient tellement de joie.
Dale avait un amour pour la vie de campagne et de ferme et était fier de pouvoir élever des poules, des porcs, du bétail, des moutons et même des faisans et adorait travailler la terre.
Dans ses jeunes années, Dale était un membre actif du Hill and Gully Rider Snowmobile Club, partageant beaucoup de plaisirs avec Grace et leurs ami.e.s. Plus tard dans sa vie, il aimait bien jouer aux poches de sable, créant de beaux souvenirs avec son épouse et ses proches.
On se souviendra de Dale pour sa gentillesse, son humour et sa dévotion envers sa famille et sa ferme. Sa présence nous manquera énormément et nous la chérirons pour toujours.
Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 13 septembre 2025 à 11 h à St-Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 643 Chemin Inlet, Mulgrave-et-Derry. La famille sera présente dès 10 h pour recevoir les condoléances.
En lieu de fleurs, un don à la Résidence Le Monarque ou à St-Matthew’s Lutheran Church en sa mémoire serait apprécié.
