SÉVIGNY, André-Philippe (Foreign Affairs Retiree). It is with great
sadness that we announce the passing of André, age 78, at the CHSLD La
Renaissance on Saturday August 20, 2011. André was born November 27th,
1932 in Ottawa. Beloved husband of Lucille Merleau. Loving father of
Céline (Raymond Séguin), Julie (Robert Roy) and Nicole (Nicole
Currier). Cherished grandfather to Alexandre, Émilie-Katerine and
André-Phillip; step grandfather to Melanie. André is survived by his
brother Paul, and sisters Edna and Claire and predeceased by sisters
Pearl, Lucille, Liliane and Hélène and brothers Harry, René, Ernest and
Eugène. André will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many nieces,
nephews and close friends. Deepest thanks to the caring staff at La
Renaissance. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 26th at
Notre-Dame Cathedral at 385 Sussex Dr at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, a
donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Let the record
show, you took the blows André, and did it your way.
