BROWN, ALICE (née Duquette)
Passed away surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, April 27th, 2014 at the age of 78 years. With her family at the core of her life, loving, caring and a talented musician, Alice was the daughter of the late Oscar Duquette and the late Sarah Sagala and wife of the late Herbert Brown. She leaves behind her dear companion, Jack Lucas, her children, Mark (Christine), Luc (Kim), Lynn (Richard) Louise (Vern), Elizabeth (Robert), Gail (Pascal) and Jason (Kate). She was the beloved grandmother of Richard, Erica, Jason, Marshall, Raymond, Jessica, Suemara, Luc, Alice, Kevin, Joshua, Jacob, David, Hugo, Michelle, Oliver and MacKenzie and great grandmother to Jaidyn, Charlie-Alice, Joelle and Chloé. She leaves behind much loved members of her family and wonderful friends. The family will accept condolences on Thursday, May 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 1369, La Vérendrye O. Blvd, in Gatineau. All are welcome to the memorial service on Friday, May 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
