Alexandre Labrecque

À la douce mémoire de

Georges Alexandre Mathieu Labrecque, Prince de Kiev-Rus' (Aujourd'hui, l'Ukraine moderne) descendant direct des Grand-Princes (Knyaz) de la Dynastie des Rurikovychy (Rurikides) par plusieurs portails.

Citoyen canadien, né à Sudbury en Ontario, au Canada le 10 septembre 1982 et décédé le 2 décembre 2023 à l'âge de 41 ans aux soins intensifs à l'Hôpital de Hull, à Gatineau, Québec, Canada.

Fils adoré de ses deux parents, sa mère Christine Robitaille (Rurikovychy) et de son père Yves Labrecque (Rurikovychy) (Conjointe : Diane Lalonde) et de sa sœur, Dr. Roxane Robitaille. Il laisse dans le deuil ses oncles et ses tantes maternels (Rurikovychy) :  Hélène Robitaille, Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Chantal Robitaille, Jeanne Brohart (née Robitaille), Patrice Robitaille, Lucie Robitaille-Raymond-Lemieux, Lydia Robitaille, Stéphanie Robitaille et Mireille McNeil (Née Robitaille) - ET - ses oncles et tantes paternels (Rurikovychy) : Louise Grégoire, Pierre Grégoire, Céline Labrecque, Carole Labrecque ainsi que ses grands-oncles, grands-tantes, de nombreux neveux et nièces, petits-neveux et petites-nièces,  cousins et cousines.

Ancien étudiant à l'Université d'Ottawa à la Faculté de Psychologie, ayant complété sa 3e année d'études universitaires, parmi les premiers de classes, il était également adepte de la physique et grand admirateur de Stephen Hawking. À un très jeune âge, amant des mathématiques, il remporta la médaille de bronze pour le Québec alors qu'il était toujours à l'école primaire. Il possédait une intelligence et un savoir remarquables! Sa vie à pris un malheureux tournant suite à une situation en milieu de travail suivi d'un accident de travail a un deuxième emploi il y a plusieurs années où il fut rendu handicapé à une jambe et par la suite desquels il a beaucoup souffert... Il a fait preuve d’un courage des plus remarquables pendant de longues années et, malgré sa souffrance, il a défendu ses causes avec détermination et perspicacité pour faire valoir ses droits. Il fut un exemple de ténacité courageuse que l'on voit rarement et ceci fut évident même jusqu'à ses derniers moments... 

Il aimait les 'soirées cinéma' avec sa mère, les sorties avec son père, les sorties aux restaurants, les voyages pour rendre visite à des membres de la famille, les documentaires, les jeux sur son téléphone, son ordinateur portable, les films d'histoire, les séries documentaires avec un talent pour remarquer et en comprendre les moindres détails au-delà de la moyenne. Il s'intéressait grandement à la généalogie, l'histoire, les nouvelles courantes, les blagues et les farces, les comédiens, la science et les événements du monde. Il adorait les jours de fêtes tout au cours de l'année et participait à la préparation culinaire des plats avec un cœur d'enfant mémorablement touchant et une 'petite gourmandise' sans abus... en demandant sans manquer chaque année de participer avec sa mère à faire des biscuits de pain d'épice et qu'elle lui fasse de la tarte à la citrouille aux pacanes pralinées sans laquelle pour lui ce n'était pas vraiment un repas de Noël...

Il ne sera pas là pour Noël... pourtant, il sera véritablement toujours dans notre cœur et nos pensées en souvenir de sa douce présence...

Jeune homme croyant, il a reçu l'Onction des malades le 27 novembre, son corps a été béni le 2 décembre, et il se retrouve sans doute dans les bras tendres de sa grand-mère Jacqueline Roy (Grandou) morte elle aussi le 2 décembre... en 1996 ainsi dans ceux de ses trois autres grands-parents : Dr. Noël Robitaille; et, Priscilla Villeneuve et Georges Labrecque.

Il a été exposé le mardi 12 décembre 2023, de 13h00 à 16h00, à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS située au 95, boul. Cité-des-Jeunes à Gatineau (secteur Hull). Son cercueil était recouvert du drapeau ukrainien, orné d'un grand bouquet de roses blanches et de fleurs. Le service religieux a eu lieu le lundi 18 décembre 2023 à 10h00 à la Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame située au 56, avenue Guigues à Ottawa (angle Sussex). La soprano d'opéra de renommée mondiale Maria Knapik-Sztramko a chanté la messe des funérailles, accompagnée par l'organiste d'élite Jennifer Loveless.

In loving memory of

Georges Alexandre Mathieu Labrecque, Prince of Kievan-Rus' (Today modern Ukraine), direct descendant of the Grand-Princes (Knyaz) of the Rurikovychy (Rurikid) Dynasty via multiple portals.

Canadian citizen, born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada on September 10, 1982, he passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 41 in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hull Hospital, in Gatineau, Québec, Canada.

Beloved son of his two parents, his mother Christine Robitaille (Rurikovychy) and his father Yves Labrecque (Rurikovychy) (Partner: Diane Lalonde), and of his sister, Dr. Roxane Robitaille. He leaves in mourning his maternal uncles and aunts (Rurikovychy): Hélène Robitaille, Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Chantal Robitaille, Jeanne Brohart (née Robitaille), Patrice Robitaille, Lucie Robitaille-Raymond-Lemieux, Lydia Robitaille, Stéphanie Robitaille and Mireille McNeil (née Robitaille) - AND - his paternal uncles and aunts (Rurikovychy): Louise Grégoire, Pierre Grégoire, Céline Labrecque, Carole Labrecque, as well as his great-uncles, great-aunts, numerous nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, and cousins.

A former student at the University of Ottawa in the Faculty of Psychology, having completed his 3rd year of university studies among the top of his class, he was also an adept of physics and a great admirer of Stephen Hawking. At a very young age, a lover of mathematics, he won the bronze medal for Quebec while still in elementary school. He possessed remarkable intelligence and knowledge! His life took an unfortunate turn following a workplace situation followed by a workplace accident at a second job several years ago, which left him disabled in one leg and from which he suffered greatly thereafter... He showed the most remarkable courage for many long years and, despite his suffering, he defended his causes with determination and insight to assert his rights. He was an example of courageous tenacity rarely encountered, and this was evident even until his very last moments...

He loved 'movie nights' with his mother, outings with his father, going to restaurants, trips to visit family members, documentaries, games on his phone and laptop, historical films, and documentary series, with a talent for noticing and understanding the smallest details beyond the average. He was greatly interested in genealogy, history, current news, jokes and pranks, comedians, science, and world events. He adored holidays throughout the year and participated in the culinary preparation of dishes with a memorably touching child's heart and a 'petite gourmandise' without excess... asking without fail every year to participate with his mother in making gingerbread cookies and for her to make him pumpkin praline pecan pie, without which, for him, it wasn't truly a Christmas dinner...

He will not be here for Christmas... yet, he will truly always be in our hearts and thoughts in memory of his gentle presence...

A young man of faith, he received the Anointing of the Sick on November 27, his body was blessed on December 2, and he is undoubtedly now in the tender arms of his grandmother Jacqueline Roy (Grandou), who also died on December 2... in 1996, as well as in those of his three other grandparents: Dr. Noël Robitaille; and, Priscilla Villeneuve and Georges Labrecque.

He was laid exposed on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 95 Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd in Gatineau (Hull sector). His casket was draped with the Ukrainian Flag with a large bouquet of white roses and flowers. The religious service was held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica located at 56 Guigues Avenue in Ottawa (Corner of Sussex). World-class opera soprano Maria Knapik-Sztramko sang the funeral mass accompanied by elite organist Jennifer Loveless.

The family received condolences at the church starting at 9:30 a.m.

Громадянин Канади, народився в Садбері, Онтаріо, Канада, 10 вересня 1982 року і помер 2 грудня 2023 року у віці 41 року у відділенні інтенсивної терапії Лікарні Галла (Hôpital de Hull) в Ґатіно, Квебек, Канада.

Улюблений син своїх батьків, матері Христини Робітай (Christine Robitaille) (Рюрикович) та батька Іва Лабрека (Yves Labrecque) (Рюрикович) (супутниця життя: Діана Лалонд (Diane Lalonde)), та сестри, д-ра Роксани Робітай (Dr. Roxane Robitaille). У скорботі залишаються його дядьки та тітки по материнській лінії (Рюриковичі): Елен Робітай (Hélène Robitaille), П'єр-Марі Робітай (Pierre-Marie Robitaille), Шанталь Робітай (Chantal Robitaille), Жанна Брохарт (Jeanne Brohart) (уроджена Робітай (née Robitaille)), Патріс Робітай (Patrice Robitaille), Люсі Робітай-Реймон-Лем'є (Lucie Robitaille-Raymond-Lemieux), Лідія Робітай (Lydia Robitaille), Стефані Робітай (Stéphanie Robitaille) та Мірей МакНіл (Mireille McNeil) (уроджена Робітай (née Robitaille)) - ТА - його дядьки та тітки по батьківській лінії (Рюриковичі): Луїза Грегуар (Louise Grégoire), П'єр Грегуар (Pierre Grégoire), Селін Лабрек (Céline Labrecque), Кароль Лабрек (Carole Labrecque), а також його двоюрідні діди та баби, численні племінники та племінниці, внучаті племінники та племінниці, двоюрідні брати та сестри.

Колишній студент факультету психології Оттавського Університету, який закінчив 3-й курс навчання серед найкращих студентів, він також захоплювався фізикою та був великим шанувальником Стівена Гокінга (Stephen Hawking). У дуже ранньому віці, люблячи математику, він виграв бронзову медаль для Квебеку, ще навчаючись у початковій школі. Він мав видатний інтелект та знання! Його життя зазнало нещасливого повороту через ситуацію на робочому місці, а потім нещасний випадок на другій роботі багато років тому, внаслідок якого він став інвалідом на одну ногу, і після чого багато страждав... Він виявляв найвизначнішу мужність протягом багатьох років і, незважаючи на страждання, відстоював свої справи з рішучістю та проникливістю, щоб захистити свої права. Він був прикладом мужньої стійкості, яку рідко бачиш, і це було очевидно навіть в останні хвилини його життя...

Він любив "кіновечори" з матір'ю, походи з батьком, відвідування ресторанів, поїздки для відвідування членів родини, документальні фільми, ігри на телефоні, ноутбуці, історичні фільми, документальні серіали, маючи талант помічати та розуміти найдрібніші деталі понад середній рівень. Він дуже цікавився генеалогією, історією, поточними новинами, жартами та розіграшами, коміками, наукою та світовими подіями. Він обожнював свята протягом року і брав участь у приготуванні страв з незабутньо зворушливим дитячим серцем і був маленьким ласуном, але без надмірностей... щороку неодмінно просячи разом з матір'ю пекти імбирне печиво і щоб вона спекла йому гарбузовий пиріг з горіхами пекан у праліне, без якого для нього це не була справжня різдвяна вечеря...

Його не буде на Різдво... проте він справді завжди буде в наших серцях і думках як спогад про його ніжну присутність...

Віруючий юнак, він прийняв Таїнство Єлеопомазання 27 листопада, його тіло було благословенне 2 грудня, і він, безсумнівно, перебуває зараз у ніжних обіймах своєї бабусі Жаклін Руа (Jacqueline Roy) (Ґранду (Grandou)), яка також померла 2 грудня... 1996 року, а також своїх трьох інших дідусів та бабусь: д-ра Ноеля Робітая (Dr. Noël Robitaille); та Прісцилли Вільнев (Priscilla Villeneuve) і Жоржа Лабрека (Georges Labrecque).

Його тіло спочивало у вівторок, 12 грудня 2023 року, з 13:00 до 16:00 у ПОХОРОННОМУ КООПЕРАТИВІ АУТУЕ (COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS) за адресою: бульвар Сіте-де-Жен, 95, в Ґатіно (сектор Галл). Його труна була вкрита Українським Прапором з великим букетом білих троянд і квітів. Релігійна служба відбулася у понеділок, 18 грудня 2023 року, о 10:00 у Базиліці-Катедрі Нотр-Дам в Оттаві за адресою: вулиця Ґіґ, 56, Оттава (на розі Сассекс) (Sussex). Всесвітньо відома оперна сопрано Марія Кнапік-Штрамко (Maria Knapik-Sztramko) співала поминальну месу у супроводі видатної органістки Дженніфер Лавлес (Jennifer Loveless).

Родина приймала співчуття в церкві починаючи з 9:30.
