Mrs. Sandra Bookhout, 69, of Cornwall, Ontario, peacefully passed away on August 14, 2025, at the family residence in Val-des-Bois, QC. She was the wife of the late Maurice Prévost.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Rayanne (Mario), Miranda (Alejandro); her grandchildren Ka-Sandra, Jessicka, Amy, Maxyme and her great-grandchildren Derek, Marika, Félix, William and Mylah.

Survived by her siblings Crystal Doucet (late Ron), Cheryl Rennick (late Tim), Carrol Bookhout (Steve), Amanda Dumont (Mike) and Joe Bookhout (Joyce), she was predeceased by her parents James and Lucille (née Meilleur) Bookhout and her brothers David Bookhout, Jimmy Bookhout and her sister Sylvia Lamer.

Sandra's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A private celebration of her life, in the presence of her ashes, will be held at the family residence.

The family would like to thank the CLSC staff (Angèle, Charlène, Emily, Julie and Patricia), in Val-des-Bois for their compassionate care and humanity - "Your unwavering support has been our guiding light."
