1950 - 2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of

Robert (Bob) Lortie

on December 22, 2020 at the age of 70. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Burns and loving father of Robert (Rob) Jr. He was predeceased by his parents Wilfrid Lortie and Lois Denault and by his son Denis.

He will be missed by his brother Ronald (Ron) (late Louise Gauthier); his niece Shannon and his nephew Ronald (Ron) Jr.  He will also be missed by his brothers-in-law Barry (Gloria) and Patrick (Pat), as well as by many cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10 am at La Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau.  Family will receive condolences as of 9:15.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or any foundation of your choice would be appreciated.
