It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Mrs. Paulette Pharand Lavergne suddenly, peacefully and without suffering at her residence on June 13, 2025, in the presence of her son Roger Lavergne, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Éphram Pharand and the late Cécile Bergeron.
Predeceased by her husband André Lavergne, who died on March 4, 2025, and her daughter Suzanne Lavergne, she is survived by her children Carole, Diane (Dave Graham) and Roger, her grandchildren Suzie, Kenny, Katy, Christine, Brigitte, Patricia, Jonathan and Cassandra, and her great-grandchildren. He also leaves many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
We will celebrate in her loving memory a courageous and exceptional woman that she was, a devoted mother and grandmother, she is remembered for her infinite love, her radiant smile, her warmth and her unwavering support that touched all those who knew her. Her compassion, her patience, her strength and the unconditional love that she offered to her family as well as all those beautiful moments of joy and endless laughter. She was a pillar, a role model for us all and her legacy of kindness and grace will remain engraved in our hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 750 Maloney East Blvd. in Gatineau, J8P 1G4.
