LAPALME, Lise-Aurore
1957 - 2025
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Lise-Aurore Lapalme on August 31, 2025, at the age of 68. She was the daughter of the late Aimé Lapalme and of Jeannine Lapalme (born Drolet).
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers Denis Lapalme (wife Monique) and René Lapalme (wife Michèle), her nephews, nieces and godchildren as well as uncles, cousins and friends.
After obtaining a Ph.D. in Geography, Lise-Aurore had an exceptional career at Natural Resources Canada. She led the development of many important tools for the social responsibility of companies in the mining sector. Lise-Aurore was a passionate reader, excelled in all forms of needle and lace work and loved to garden.
A celebration of her life, in the presence of her ashes, will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 750 Maloney Boulevard East in Gatineau. Your expressions of sympathy can be conveyed through a donation to the Gatineau Hospital Oncology Center, to a charity supporting environmental causes or to an animal protection organization.
