Kurt Trauner

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Kurt finally lost his fight on April 22, 2018.  Kurt was born in February 1932 in Vienna, Austria.  He was predeceased by his parents Wilhelm and Maria Trauner, his wife Marie Lamothe and their son William (Billy). Kurt leaves behind in sadness his son Anthony and his loyal companion Pierrette Brunet-Boisvert.  He will be missed by his good friends in Austria as well as his former co-workers througout Canada.

Special thanks to the dedicated and caring service by the staff and volunteers of La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie.

In lieu of flowers, donations to La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie would be appreciated.

The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10 am at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95 Cité des Jeunes Blvd in Gatineau (Hull sector).  Family will receive condolences as of 9:30.

Cher Tony,
Je viens d'apprendre le décès de ton père. Mon père est décédé l'an dernier alors je peux comprendre ta perte. Avec le temps, seuls les bons souvenirs restent.
Ma mère est placée en foyer pour personnes semi-autonome. Elle t'envoie toutes ses sympathies.
