It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother 

Germaine Forget

on the 18th of December 2021 at 82 years old.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald (Gerry) Barbeau, daughter of the late Daniel Forget and the late Irene Potvin.  She will be grieved by her children: Guy (Lyne Soucy), Lee Anne (Denis Sirois) and Julie (Bogdan Capruciu); her grandchildren: Genevieve, Stephanie, Melodie, Jennifer, Valerie, Darius, Kalyan and Teodor and her six great-grandchildren.  She will also be remembered by her brothers and sisters: Jacqueline (late Marcel), Claudette (Malcom), Denise (Larry), Richard, Claire (Don), Louis (Bev) Marc, Suzanne (Paul), Maurice and Gayle.  Predeceased by her sisters Elaine and Janine and her brothers Daniel Jr. and Jean. 

A celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 1369, La Vérendrye O. Blvd. in Gatineau, on Friday January 7th, 2022 by invitation only.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the entire palliative team at the

Gatineau Hospital for the excellent care provided to their mother.

For those who wish to do so, donations to one of the following foundations would be appreciated: Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, Quebec Cancer Foundation or any other foundation of your choice.
