JENNER, William

1946 - 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, William “Bill” Jenner, who passed away peacefully at the Gatineau Hospital on January 24th after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Stacey (Tim) and Laurie (James), as well as his cherished grandsons, Thomas and Lukas. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Lianne (Eric), Heather (Ian), Suzanne (Steve), and John Robert (Nadiya), who will miss him dearly, along with his step-grandchildren, Jessica, Joelle, Allison, Max, Dylan, Chantal, Harry, John, and Ben, their partners and children, as well as other family and friends.

He is fondly remembered by his former wife, Barbara Watson, and was predeceased by his beloved wife, Winnifred Barrington.

Bill’s big heart, kindness, and zest for life touched everyone who knew him. He found joy in photography, all things golf, and the company of family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will receive condolences in presence of his ashes on Saturday February 15th, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 1369, La Vérendrye Ouest.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada in memory of William Jenner http://llscanada.org/

Stacey & Laurie & Family

I have fond memories of growing up with Bill. I thought of him more like a big brother than a cousin. I will miss our phone calls and catching up on family. Bill was kind and loving and always made an effort to stay in touch. Barbara

Stacey, Laurie and Family

There are some people in our lives who hold a very special place that no one else could and Bill is one of them. So appreciated his regular phone calls and up to date reports of family, friends and current events, along with a joke or two.

Sincerely Cousin Dorothy, Vic and family.

The family

Im sorry for your loss, I would see Bill regularly at Ben and Florentine while I was working there during the summer. We had the same birthday. He was always nice to me and I will remember him fondly.

My deepest sympathies. I think Bill would be thrilled to have trees planted in his memory. He would want to know what kind and where they are. He would probably wonder whether he could make a nice cabinet or solid toy box out of them one day, like the beautiful toy boxes he made my boys long ago. Of course he would want to use the wood for golf clubs too :) I trust he is at rest now, in a happy place.
