Toutes mes sympathies!

Hearing this news puts a new meaning on sadness. I had the pleasure of working with
Phil on a number of visits both in Canada and various other countries as members of Foreign Affairs Protocol Office. It is difficult to believe that he has passed at such a young age. In addition to working together we had many serious discussions about life in general and our after life. We also had many less serious opinions re his love for the Montreal Canadians and Boston Red Sox....teams I did not support but small bets between us was always a fun time between us.
Sympathies to all of Phil's family.

To Family and Friends of Phil Lemieux

I am so sad to learn of Phil's too early passing. I had the honor and pleasure to work with Phil in the office of Protocol at GAC in the early 2000's. I was the new chief and Phil managed my first big project and taught me the ropes. A gentleman, professional, warm, witty and competent. He will be sorely missed. Please accept my sincere condolences.

The family of Philip Lemieux

For Philip's family-
We send our condolences and are so very sorry for your loss of Philip.
I worked with Philip on many state visits- he was careful with the details and always enjoyed meeting new visitors. He had a great sense of humour and it was fun being in the office with him.
We sincerely hope that the comfort of family and friends will bring some comfort-
We also know how much he adored his children.
With our prayers to you all,
Liz and Scott

Ron, Jenna, David, Charlize and family

I was very sad to hear about Phil's sudden passing. I have so many fond memories of spending time with family at many gatherings on Ivy, at the Lemieux home and at the cottage at Lac Bernard. I am sure David, Jenna and Charlize and the grandchildren will miss his great smile and kindness.

RIP.

Philip Lemieux

I have, just now, heard about Phil's passing.

It is with heavy heart that I offer you my deepest sympathy at this most difficult time.
I, like many of us, had the great pleasure of working with Phil at The Office of Protocol.
He truly had the rare quality of brightening up anyone's day, including mine.
He will be sadly missed, but I will keep him in my thoughts.
Such a good and kind gentle man.
