It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Paulette Richer on May 1st, 2024, at the age of 83. She was the daughter of the late André Richer and the late Léa Lamarche. She leaves behind her spouse, Deah Gagnon, her children Lynn Denis (Luc Denis), Christine Routliffe (Greg Walsh), her niece Nicole Richer, her grandchildren Benoît Denis (Shannon Williams), Nicolas Denis (Emilie Langlois), Katya Desormeaux, Jaime Desormeaux (Jordain Gauthier) and Sarah Walsh (Michael Stainforth); her great-gandchildren Mason Crawford, Gannon Denis, Luka Desormeaux, Reah Desormeaux, Dax Denis, Rory Stainforth. She also leaves her spouse’s children Richard Gagnon, Nancy Gagnon (Ginette Jean), Cindy Gagnon (Tony Van Gurp) and the grandchildren Aidan, Connor and Madison as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Lucien (the late Ethel McKeddie) and by her sisters Cécile (the late Roger Rockbrune) and Pierrette (René Graveline).
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 10 am in Saint-Paul Church, 26 Eardley Road in Gatineau (Aylmer sector). Family will receive condolences as of 9 am.
For those who wish to do so, a donation to La maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie in her memory would be appreciated.
