Mr. Maurice Prévost, 73, of Bridgeville (Gaspésie), passed away on May 4, 2025, at Buckingham Hospital. Mr. Prévost was the son of the late Wenceslas Prévost and the late Lucille Réhel.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years Ms. Sandra Bookhout.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Rayanne (Mario) and Miranda (Alejandro); his grandchildren: Ka-Sandra, Jessicka, Amy and Maxyme; his great-grandchildren: Derek, Marika, Félix, William and Milah. He also leaves his brothers: Hector, Jean-Pierre, Albanie, Florent and Magella; his sisters: Nicole and Rosaline as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Julien, André and his sister Jeannine.

A celebration of his life, in the presence of his ashes, will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS. 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau. You will be able to watch the ceremony live or in replay via the following link https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/106479  In case of technical problems during the live broadcast, a replay will be possible later.

Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The family would like to thank the emergency staff at Buckingham Hospital for their compassionate care and humanity.
