BARRETTE, Mario

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Mario Barrette on January 20th, 2018 in Masson-Angers, at the age of 59.

Beloved husband of Christine Bougie and son of Raymond Barrette and of late Simone Bourgon. He leaves behind stepdaughther Sara Baldi, his brothers André and Michel, his sisters Hélène and Claudette. He also leaves many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday February 17th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Jean XXIII Church, located at 1194 St-René W. in Gatineau. The family will receive the condolences at 10:30 a.m.

Instead of giving flowers, his wish was to donate to the Canadian Cancer Society.

We will deeply miss his joy of life and his great sense of humour.

I will miss Mario deeply. Things won't be the same without him in our lives. Even when I was serious, he'd always manage to crack a joke and make me laugh. He was a special kind of man and he had a big heart. I hope you know how much I love you Mom and I will take care of your for him.
