Louise Paquette Mantha

On July 16th, 2020, Louise passed away at the age of 73 surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of Jean Mantha and daughter of the late Arthur Paquette and the late Pauline Laroche. She leaves behind her sons : Jean-Philippe (Natashia) and Vincent (Michèle) as well as her grandchildren : Patrick, Benjamin, Laura and Olivier. She also leaves her brother André (Pauline); her sister Hélène (late André) and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Gilles and sisters Marguerite and Denise.

In order to comply with government guidelines on COVID-19, only people personally invited by the family may be present at the funeral. Others who wish to attend will be able to do so virtually during the live webcast of the ceremony on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2 p. m. or replay via the following link : https://commemora.tv/fr/diffusions/16227.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Ottawa Civic Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the intensive and palliative care units of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their support and excellent care.

J'ai eu l'occasin de travailler de près avec Louise pendant de nombreuses années. Notre expérience immersion française, au cycle intermédiaire, ont cimenté une forte amitié. C'est avec regret que j'apprends son décès. Mes sympathies à sa famille.

Jean et la famille de Louise

Mes sincères condoléances à vous. J'ai appris de décès de Louise par les nécrologies du journal Le Droit et j'ai assisté aux funérailles diffusées sur le web. Ces deux media me permettent ainsi de dire "Au revoir" à une amie du temps de notre adolescence et de notre jeune vingtaine. De beaux souvenirs .. Que son âme repose en paix!
