The Family

As a kid, I always looked forward to the many events held at the camp. Whether it was a delicious Thanksgiving or Easter meal, our large family Christmas gatherings, a surprise birthday party, or night time tobogganning runs, Judy was instrumental in making all of those events warm, welcoming and fun. My fondest memories of Judy are of her standing on the front steps of the camp, often wearing an apron, beaming with the biggest welcoming smile as we drove in.
I am sure that following her long illness it is a blessing that she no longer suffers. You can take comfort in how you cared for her so long and lovingly. No one could have done better.

My deepest sympathies
Mark

To Myrna and Neil . Every time I have a blank I think of your mother…your wife. I am amazed at how long she hung on to life. I think it must have been that great smile and friendly positive outlook that kept her going. Great food along with the desire to please. All my admiration to all of you for being by her side and never giving up. There are people you meet in life for just a few minutes and it changes you forever … she was one of those humans. In her own special way she was as sweet as her cookies . I cannot be at the service so please tell her that she continue to be in my thoughts every time my memory fails me. ️

Uncle Neil, Connie, Myrna & Ross

There was never a moment in my lifetime that Aunt Judy didn’t greet me with a smile. Her smile. A smile like no one else. I’m not sure I can recall ever actually seeing her without it! Even if we were all getting in trouble (because heaven knows we did that often!) she still seemed to be smiling. It is how I will forever remember her.

I have so many happy memories of holidays spent, our entire family, under one roof. I cherish them and think of them often.

I am sorry for the loss and sadness you are all feeling. I feel confident, though, that her spirit is free to smile once again.

All my love to you all.

Neil, I am so sorry for your loss. Judy and I were childhood friends. We loved to run through the fields on our farm (Clifford French). I was so happy to see Judy at my cousin's party at the Legion many years ago. You are in our thoughts.
