La famille de Jovette
Mes sincères sympathies à vous tous. Je suis une copine d'enfance, nous étions écolière. Son sourire était contagieux. Bon courage à vous tous. Qu'elle Repose en paix.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Jovette Drolet, who joined the stars on March 22, 2024, at the age of 70.
Born on December 3, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Rita Bond and Lucien Drolet. A resident of Russell, Ontario, she was loved and adored by her husband Robert Mitchell, and remains the love of his life. She is survived by her husband Robert Mitchell, her two brothers, Luc Drolet (Madeleine Drolet) and her younger brother Serge Drolet (Sue Drolet). She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues who will always cherish her smile, her tenderness and her love.
She was predeceased by her sister Marjolaine.
Jovette's life was a symphony of joyful moments, overcoming challenges and immeasurable love.
Her laughter was contagious, her wisdom infinite and her tenderness a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her interest and commitment to those she loved was remarkable. Her desire to reach out to others in a spirit of mutual help and support was inspiring.
Passionate about cooking and well-intentioned, she knew how to welcome her guests like kings. She will be sorely missed. Her passage to the other world was liberating and very luminous.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS located at 750, boul. East in Gatineau (Pavillon du Lac Beauchamp). The family will receive condolences at 1 p.m. A live webcast or replay will be available via the following link: https://fweb.tv/120695
The family would like to thank the staff of the Centre de Soins Palliatifs de l'Hôpital St-Vincent for their professionalism, compassion and excellent care of Jovette.
