1996 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathan Morel on October 19th, 2022 at the age of 26 years old.

He leaves behind his father Michel Morel (Joanne Parizeau) and his mother Sherry-Lynn Mayhew (Denis Dubois). He also leaves his sisters: Caroline Mayhew (Chris Semple) and Alexyanne Croteau-Morel (Kevin Vanasse), his nephew Caleb as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grand-father Claude Morel.

A celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 750, Maloney Boulevard East in Gatineau, on Saturday November 12th, 2022 at 10 am. The family will receive condolences as of 9:15 am.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the personnel of the Hull and the Gatineau Hospitals for their support and the good care provided to Jonathan.

A Carole la grand mère si attentionné envers Jonathan ainsi qu’à ses parents, j’offre mes plus sincères condoléances. J’ai aimé Jonathan dès la première fois que j’ai fait sa connaissance lors de la célébration de la fête d’Evelyne il y a plusieurs années et je l’ai trouvé tellement poli, gentil et charmant ce jeune homme. Il est maintenant allé trouver tous ceux qui l’ont pré décédé et il est maintenant libéré de ces douleurs. Quoique trop jeune, il repose enfin en paix.
