It is with great sadness that we announce the death of

John-Frederick Austen-Brown on January 20, 2021 in Châteauguay at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Renée Cusson. He leaves behind his daughter Susan (Sylvain Mercier) and his son Robert; his grandchildren : Simon (Claudia) and Cedric; his great-granchildren : Zyah and Veni. He also leaves his sister Jean Gardiner (late Joe Gardiner), many relatives and friends.

The celebration of prayers will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS at 95, Cité-des-Jeunes Bvld in Gatineau (Hull sector). In order to comply with the Government's directives on the COVID-19 pandemic, only people invited personally by the family will be allowed to attend the funeral service.

The family wishes to thank the CISSSMO Hôpital Anna-Laberge staff for support and their good care.

Very sad to hear the news of your father's passing, especially following such a hard time for families to keep in close contact. Although I never met him I did hear stories of his childhood from my father Peter, John's twin brother. Good times by all accounts. We are all thinking of you here in the UK.
