JEANNINE CHOUINARD (NÉE MOTARD),
1931 - 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannine Chouinard (née Motard) on June 14, 2025, at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Laurent Chouinard and the daughter of the late Léo Motard and the late Flora Lowden.
She leaves behind her children, Jean (France), Pierre, Lise, André, Hélène and Michèle; her grandchildren, Marc (Natasha), Paul (Sierra), Élizabeth (Eddy), Marie (Nick) and Caroline; and her great-grandchildren, Luca, Callie, Felix, Julien, Ella, Emilia and Elijah. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Marthe (late Hercule) and brother-in-law Roger, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Rodolphe (late Coreen), Lucille (late Ian), Aurèle (Ruth), Émile (late Lise), Elaine (late Robert) and Louise (late William), as well as by many brothers and sisters-in-law of the Chouinard family.
Visitations will take place at LA COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS, 95 de la Cité-des-Jeunes Boulevard in Gatineau, on Sunday June 22nd, 2025, from 6 pm. to 9 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Monday June 23rd, 2025, at 11 am at Notre-Dame-de-la-Guadeloupe Church located at 14, rue de la Guadeloupe, in Gatineau (Hull sector). The family will receive condolences as of 10:30 am.
