Jason Edward Rose

1974-2020

After a lengthy, valiant struggle with mental illness, Jason Edward Rose, who was born on November 19,1974 at Ottawa Civic Hospital in Ontario, Canada passed away on February 3, 2020.  He was 45 years old.  The son of Charles Rose (deceased in 1981) and Linda Rose, he is survived by his longtime love, Désirée Toussaint with whom he raised his two adored children from a previous relationship, Marisa and Noah Rose (born in 2008).  He also leaves behind his mother, Linda Rose, his sisters Pamela Rose and Verneena Rose, Ivy Lee Rose, brother Victor Rose, uncles George Thorburn (deceased), Gerald Rose (deceased), Paul Bélanger, and his aunts, Beverly Rose and Elaine Thorburn. Jason will also be missed by his cousins, nieces, a nephew and a plethora of friends and colleagues who shall undoubtedly miss his sharp wit, winning smile, and convivial disposition.

Rest now, gentle giant—your private struggle has ceased, and the persistent pain has come to an end.  You will live forevermore in the incandescence of your beautiful children.

The celebration of prayers will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, at 95, Cité-des-Jeunes Bvld, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Saturday the 15th of February 2020 at 6:00 pm . The family will receive condolences at 5:15pm.
